Parenting is Hard. 3 Reasons Why.

Sometimes being a mom or a dad is hard. It's difficult to get up in themiddle of the night to change a diaper. It's hard to tell your children no when they want to jump in a mud puddle (next time, let them do it.)

But is parenting ever this hard?

Parenting is Hard

Wow! I've never pushed a baby in that particular type of stroller, but strollers all seem to weigh about the same. Do you really need a Segway to get your kid across the street? A Segway typically has a max speed of 12.5 mph. Does this lady really need that much speed to move her little nugget of love?

I don't think cruising the streets with my baby would be a hard part of parenting; I think it would be a blast. However, the following are good reasons why parenting can sometimes be difficult:

  1. Kid's ears only work when you've told them to clean up spilled water at least 4.75 times.
  2. Being with your wife, alone, is like an eclipse. You rarely see it, but when you do, it's beautiful.
  3. Changing diapers.

Of course there are good things that come with having a baby – but we'll save that for another post.

What are some things make parenting hard for you? See you in the comments!
